Ryan Meikle Interview Part 1 : 'Tough standard but I'm playing well'

Dartsnews.com as well as having the opportunity to speak to Luke Humphries we also spoke to Ryan Meikle, one of the rising stars of the game from the Suffolk area. In the first of a 2 part interview, we talk about how he got into darts and also this weekends' Development Tour.
Dartsnews : Thanks for taking time out to speak to us Ryan, first of all could you tell the readers how you got into darts??
Ryan : Hello I first got into darts because of my dad he plays county and still is a good player, I was around 10 and just loved watching him play so started with a board on a chair and went from there.
Dartsnews : You go into the weekend in the Development Tour in the top 5 of the Order of Merit with everything still to play for, what are your thoughts going into the weekend as well as on the Development Tour in general??
Ryan : Looking forward to development tour this weekend, one good weekend could see me challenging for top 2 and could save going back to Q school. It's a very tough standard but I'm playing well so let's see what happens.
