Gary Anderson will join Mensur Suljovic in the Semi-Finals as the second man through in Group B, the 2x World Champion defeated Peter Wright to get through to join the Gentle who made it 3 out of 3 in the group defeating Dave Chisnall.
Suljovic the World Number 7 finished up as group winner and continued his dominance in Group B defeating Dave Chisnall who had already been eliminated 10-5. The Gentle had previously beaten Peter Wright and Gary Anderson to make him an outside bet to win the title.

Anderson then made it through after Peter Wright missed 7 match darts on his throw and then another in the following leg which allowed Anderson to sneak it 10-9 to go through with 'The Gentle'. 'The Flying Scotsman' averaged 98 to Wright's 101 but the pressure told.

- I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
