The race for the Champions League of Darts is hotting up with the final session coming up shortly. Four men are in the running as we start off with the semi-finals, those men are :
Mensur Suljovic who so far in this tournament has beaten Peter Wright,
Gary Anderson and Dave Chisnall to top his group and be the outside bet to claim his first TV title after previously getting to the European Championship final and winning a Euro Tour to cap off a stellar rise up the rankings for the unorthodox Austrian.
He will face
Raymond van Barneveld who himself has enjoyed a good run so far only losing to
Phil Taylor the defending champion 10-6 but has enjoyed successes against Michael van Gerwen and Adrian Lewis who he smashed to assure his place in the semi-finals.
In the second semi-final, Phil Taylor the defending champion will face Gary Anderson. Taylor has enjoyed an unbeaten start like Suljovic defeating Lewis and Barney yesterday convincingly and then brushing past Michael Van Gerwen to knock out the World Number One in the group stages and will be the favourite for tonight.
But the man who he faces is no pushover with of course 2 world titles to his name and multiple major triumphs, Gary Anderson who is lucky to be there with Peter Wright failing to take his opportunities but will want to return to the final of a TV event again and spoil Taylor's last appearance on the BBC.
