Schindler “very proud” to reach Quarter-Finals of World Cup of Darts

Martin Schindler and Max Hopp gave a good account of themselves by reaching the Quarter-Finals of the World Cup of Darts losing out to eventual champions Netherlands.

’The Wall’ and ‘The Maximiser’ continue to impress and Schindler spoke after their good run admitting he is very proud to have reached the latter stages of the competition. He also spoke about the German crowd and said the support was awesome and that it is growing. For the young German he is very happy to be a part of it. “I’m very proud that we reached the quarter-finals again and I had a lot of fun on the stage and gained more experience,” said Schindler “The support of the German crowd was awesome. Playing in front of your home crowd is a huge advantage and we are very thankful for every German fan that came to the venue. “Darts in Germany is growing and growing. I am happy to be part of it.”
