Scotland are the first team through to the final of the World Cup of Darts after a comfortable win over Japan in the first semi-final.

Gary Anderson and Seigo Asada started it off in what promised to be a potential match of the tournament between the former who was returning to form and the latter who has shown once again how good he is.
Anderson hit first hitting a first 180 on his way to taking the lead and he extended that with a brilliant 118 checkout which doubled his lead.
He added to that with a 113 checkout to go one away from the point but Asada himself had a brilliant response. 'The Ninja' crashed in a 127 checkout in emphatic fashion to ask the question of the former two time World Champion.
He pulled it back further pouncing on missed darts to win to make it 3-2 but Anderson edged through in the end.
Wright found it easier to move through against Haruki Muramatsu. The latter took the lead with a 61 checkout but that was as good as it got for the Japanese ace. Wright responded with a 56 checkout and a double 10 checkout to move 3-1 up.
Following that he took out 54 for a brilliant 4-1 victory as Scotland move to the brink of World Cup triumph for the first time.
