Scotland have continued their charge at this year’s World Cup Of Darts with a brilliant clean sweep over Belgium and they will now face Japan in the semi-finals.
Gary Anderson and Kim Huybrechts started it off with a 4-2 victory to get the first point on the board.
Huybrechts claimed the first leg but Anderson was back to his clinical self and checked out 72 after Kim had missed two darts to extend his lead.
This happened again in the following leg and Anderson landed double 12 for a 2-1 lead. Huybrechts hit back to level it up but Anderson replied with a 12 darter and from there sealed the deal.
Then it was the turn of Peter Wright and Dimitri van den Bergh. Dimitri set his stall out early claiming the first leg but from there it was tight with them both poised at 2-2.
The crucial moment came though when Wright checked out 76 for a break of throw and he stormed to victory as a result.
This was all with a 110 average in one of his best performances of the year. Could this tournament be a revival for Snakebite?
