The latest BDO event took place this past weekend with Karel Sedlacek and Lorraine Winstanley picking up the men’s and ladies titles respectively.
Sedlacek has previously competed at the PDC World Cup; he was also the first Czech player to play on the European Tour this year.
He defeated another player who has played on the Euro Tour previously; in Austrian ace, Hannes Schnier.
Winstanley saw off Lisa Ashton in the ladies final 5-2; as well ahead of next weekend’s PDC World Championship qualifier she will see it as ideal preparation for that against one of her main rivals.
