Michael Smith sealed his play-off spot last night with a draw with Daryl Gurney. It was a brilliant game with both players showing some real form but it was the Bully Boy who claimed the 3 legs he needed to get to the O2.

He spoke afterwards and was saying that now his dad can book his hotel with his fate still not sealed before last night. Smith admitted he kept his head level and threw well to force a draw which he can be pleased about.
"My dad can book his hotel for The O2 now," said Smith, the former World Youth Champion.
"Daryl hit me with some good shots, the 147 and the 167, but I kept my head level.
"I knew I needed one big leg at the end, thankfully I threw well and went out in 12 darts."
