Souza returns to World Championship after coming through South/West European Qualifier

The next PDC World Championship qualifier has been confirmed with Jose Souza coming through the PDC South/West Europe Qualifier.
Souza played in the 2012 PDC World Championship losing out to Devon Petersen in the preliminary rounds; but has now confirmed his return to the Alexandra Palace.
He defeated Jesus Noguera Perea in the final in a 6-4 win for the Portuguese thrower. There are more qualification tournaments in the next few weeks as the line up comes close to being confirmed.

- Am beginning to wonder if there is to much darts now and players are burning out earlier and with the high rewards now at the top level once a few million has been earned the desire to play wanes. There is no close season as such and there is the exhibition circuit so it is a 12 month circus.Mysstree29-11-2024
