Mensur Suljovic has ended a winless run at the World Matchplay as he has finally beaten Steve Beaton despite making harder work of it than he should have done.

Suljovic was 9-4 up and missed multiple sets of match darts but 'The Bronzed Adonis' could only claim two more legs to his total before falling to the Gentle.
It was four 180's and three ton plus checkouts to go alongside a 93 average for the Austrian who is now one of the prime outside favourites to claim the title this week.
He will face Ian White who came through against Max Hopp earlier and you have to feel whoever comes through that is destined for a golden run at the World Matchplay.
