Suljovic impressive in claiming win over Wright in high-quality affair, Jamie Lewis produces 161 checkout to defeat Adrian Lewis in decider

The fifth round line-up is complete with Mensur Suljovic making it through with victory over Peter Wright in a really high quality contest on the Main Stage where they both averaged in the early 100+ mark.
Suljovic played brilliant throughout and prevailed 10-8 to reach the Last 32 to complete consecutive victories over Wright after his win in the Premier League on Thursday.
In terms of statistics he hit 62.5% on his doubles alongside his 101 average with a high checkout of 170 in the second one of the night.
‘The Gentle’ will know he is now one of the favourites for the crown with him and Rob Cross two of the biggest names left standing.
On the other boards, Jamie Lewis produced heroics himself taking Adrian Lewis all the way to a last leg and with both players sat on 161, it was the Welshman that pinned it to win the battle of the same surname.
There were also impressive wins for the likes of Simon Whitlock, Max Hopp and Daryl Gurney who haven’t really received the plaudits so far but are into the draw tomorrow.

- It is simply not true to say that these 5 players are guaranteed to keep their Tour Cards. At least Karel Sedlacek, Dylan Slavin and Stephen Burton are in danger of losing them, especially if they fail to win their first round match.
