Terry Jenkins did not make many headlines at UK Open Qualifying. But his appearance raised some attention.
The Bull retired from darts last year, making his final appearance as a pro in the 2017 UK Open. When he arrived in Wigan for the 2018 qualifiers, it was as a PDPA Associate Member. Jenkins raised some questions when he appeared on the PDC live stream. He had gone totally bald, prompting questions over the cause of his sudden hair loss.
Multiple-time major runner-up Jenkins took to Twitter to explain the situation. "I have lost my hair due to Alopecia from a car accident I had a year ago," he explained. The 54-year-old assuaged fears of any major issues by adding "all ok bullybully !!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
