As the World Championship gets over closer, more moments have been released from the past with John Part winning in one of the greatest finals in the history of this event.

He defeated Phil Taylor who up to that point had been imperious and had won eight PDC world titles in a row. The 'Darth Maple' proved it wasn't a fluke by winning yet another in a final with Kirk Shepherd who had a magical run at the Alexandra Palace.
The final was a thriller as well and is seen still as one of the best games ever shown on Sky Sports with it going to a deciding leg and Part holding his nerve to seal his second world title and his first PDC one also ending another run with Taylor and that was losing thirteen straight world championship sets and five previous televised meetings.
