Gary Anderson is aware of the strong field at the Champions League of Darts. Next month, the top-8 of the PDC Order of Merit takes part in this tournament on the BBC.
The Scotsman have drawn Peter Wright, Dave Chisnall and Mensur Suljovic in his group at the Champions League of Darts. In an interview with The Scottish Sun, Anderson says there are no easy games in darts anymore.
''This is a very tough tournament. It's the top eight guys in the world, every match is like a semi-final. To be honest, there just aren't any easy matches in darts anymore. The standard is crazy now. It's either big scoring and quick finishing or go home.''
''I dont mind the group system like the Grand Slam. But it's so important to win your first match and find your rhythm. We are now getting towards the business eind of the year. I want to forget the World Matchplay as soon as possible, then find top form for the World Championship.''
