Draw & schedule
The first of 16 days of action at the Alexandra Palace in London will start on Thursday December 13, with the first two rounds are played during the first eight days of the PDC World Darts Championship.
The third round is split either side of the Christmas break, with the fourth round being played on December 27-28 ahead of the quarter-finals across two sessions on December 29. The semi-finals on Sunday December 30 will be followed on Tuesday January 1 with the 2019 PDC World Darts Championship final.

TV Coverage
The PDC World Darts Championship will be broadcast in full on the dedicated Sky Sports Darts channel, which will be on air from December 13 to January 1.
Sky Sports Darts will be the place to keep track of the tournament from Thursday, December 13 when coverage gets underway.

First Round - Best of five sets (no tie-break)

A tie-break will be in operation in all round from the second round onwards, where the final set must be won by two clear legs. If the score reaches five-all, the 11th leg will be a sudden-death leg.
