UK Open Qualifying 2 results, Last 32: Wade & Van Gerwen through to L16 & Hughes continues fine run

The Last 32 is completed and the players who will be battlin it out for a Quarter-Final spot are confirmed at UK Open Qualifier 2. James Wade continues his return to form by getting through Robert Thornton. Michael van Gerwen smashed Rene Berndt as well to continue his good form.

Also Jamie Hughes is through to continue his great day and it just about confirms his spot at Minehead. Among the other results are Daryl Gurney who smashed yesterday's finalist Michael Smith.
Dave Prins bowed out to Justin Pipe and Matthew Edgar came through a tight one against Cristo Reyes. One of the ties of the next round involves MVG and that is he World Number 1 vs the man from Kettering, 'Rapid' Ricky Evans in a potentially frenetic game.
