UK Q-School 2018 - Day One: Remaining eight players battling for two Tour Cards

Corey Cadby and former World Youth-finalist Nathan Aspinall are still within the chance to secure a Tour Card on the first day of the Q-School. Cadby beat John Mann in the last 16, while Aspinall defeated Michael Dawson.

St. Helens' thrower Eddie Dootson also moved into the quarter-finals, where he will meet Simon Preston. Callan Rydz is going to face Carl Wilkinson in the fourth quater-final.
The last two players from the UK Qualifying School secure automatic PDC Tour Cards, with remaining players earning ranking points. Ranking points are awarded with one point per win from rounds where there are no Byes onwards.
