UK Q-School 2018 Day Two: Robert Owen and Alan Tabern secure tour cards

The second day of UK Q-School has come to a close with the next two names to secure their tour cards for the next two years revealed with Robert Owen and Alan Tabern being the two men to join Corey Cadby & Eddie Dootson from the UK and Jeffrey de Zwaan and Mario Robbe from the European Q-School.

Owen came through today with wins over Robert Smith 5-4, former UK Open participant Lee Evans 5-0, Paul Harvey 5-0, George Gardner 5-1, 5-4 against Tony Martin.
Also defeated Simon Stevenson 5-0, Nathan Aspinall 5-2 before defeating Mike Norton 5-3 to win his tour card.
The experienced Alan Tabern joins Owen, he defeated Craig Reeves, Darren Place, Gary Eastwood, Jamie Hughes then Terry Temple, Phil Borthwick and finally Steven Kirkby as 'The Saint' secures his return to the Pro Tour.
