The second day of UK Q-School is coming towards it's conclusion and some good and surprising names are still left standing at the Robin Park Tennis Centre as we have reached the Last 8 stage in proceedings.
Of those still in the tournament, the well known names will be the likes of Alan Tabern, Nathan Aspinall, Robert Owen and Dave Prins with Aspinall potentially safe in the Order of Merit (if he doesn't lose in the first round twice) as it stands no matter what happens today.
Steven Kirkby is one of the surprise names into the last 8, a player who seemingly has come back to the tour after a few challenge tour events and a tilt at
Q-School back in 2013 defeated another surprise in Darren Beveridge.
Philip Borthwick was another surprise seemingly from the North East and he defeated Rhys Griffin as well as Mike Norton who defeated Ian Jones.
