Updated PDC Order of Merit after first ProTour weekend: Chisnall up to 11th, Durrant up to 88th

The PDC Order of Merit has been updated after the first weekend of Players Championship action in Wigan with two players in particular having rises to start off the season.
Dave Chisnall claimed his thirteenth PDC ranking title and his first in 18 months and as a result he is now up to eleventh in the Order of Merit replacing Ian White in that position.
Glen Durrant also on his first weekend went up to 88th already so with all previous ranking money for those leaving the tour falling off, he will if he continues his form move into the top 64 quite quickly.

- I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
