Players Championship events more often than not show an insane standard and these standards were met this past Sunday.
A record four players hit nine darters on the same day to underline this.
It all started with the Dutch youngster Geert Nentjes who whitewashed Mervyn King in the process.
Recent Premier League Contender Chris Dobey was next with him hitting the first of two in front of the streaming boards.
He was in a last leg decider with Dave Prins and claimed the win with the magical 141.

It was then the turn of Dave Chisnall, the champion yesterday underlined his brilliant day by hitting the perfect leg in a 6-2 win over Rowby-John Rodriguez.
And of course Michael van Gerwen had to get in on the act hitting one during his defeat to Jonny Clayton in the Quarter-Finals.
Mighty Mike was the only player to go an unconventional route though with him going T19, T16, D18 (141) for the leg.
Can this standard be kept up next weekend when the Pro Tour returns?
