Van Barneveld keeps winless streak after losing to Cross in Premier League

Rob Cross claimed a third successive win in the Premier League Darts after beating Raymond van Barneveld 7-3 in Nottingham.

The Dutchman remains winless in the Premier League after suffering his third consecutive defeat. Cross averaged over 101 and hit 30% on the doubles to book his fourth victory in the competition.
Cross broke Van Barneveld's throw in the sixth leg with a 12-darter and extended his lead to 6-2. 'Barney' survived match-darts in the nineth leg and took out 88 to stay in the match. The five-time world champion had a poor start of his own tenth leg, while Cross moved away with two trebles in the first two turns. The world number two left 24 after thirteen darts and hit double 12 with his nineth match-dart.
