Van Barneveld, Van den Bergh and Van der Voort among European Qualifiers for European Darts Open

Raymond van Barneveld makes his European Tour return next month as the Dutchman books his place for the European Darts Open. The five-time world champion became one of the six winners from the European Qualifier for the first European Tour event of the season.
Van Barneveld managed to beat Tytus Kanik in the final round to confirm his spot. The 51-year-old from The Hague defeated Benito van de Pas and Marko Kantele en route to the final.
Vincent van der Voort qualified at the expense of Jelle Klaasen after defeating his compatriot 6-3. Jeffrey de Zwaan claimed one of the places after overcoming Maik Kuivenhoven.
Belgian duo Kim Huybrechts and Dimitri van den Bergh also booked their place for the European Darts Open. Krzysztof Ratajski claimed the sixth spot.
