Van den Bergh claims qualifiation double, Robbe qualifies after defeating Van Barneveld and De Zwaan

Dimitri van den Bergh secured his place in both the European Darts Open and the German Darts Championship on Friday evening.

After beating Jan Dekker to come through the first qualifier, Van den Bergh survived six match-darts against Krzysztof Ratajski to qualify for the German Darts Championship.
Mario Robbe defeated three Dutch compatriots to qualify for the European Tour event in Hildesheim. After knocking out Niels Zonneveld, 'The Dutch Robot' beat Raymond van Barneveld and Jeffrey de Zwaan to seal qualification. Tytus Kanik, Ron Meulenkamp, Gabriel Clemens and Madars Razma claimed the other four spots.
