Michael van Gerwen topped the averages at this past weekends' European Darts Grand Prix in Sindelfingen but he also topped the 180 stats with 18 in all over the course of the weekend.
In second place was his Dutch compatriot, Danny Noppert who reached the semi-finals at the event who hit 13. This was followed by Joe Cullen and Dave Chisnall in 3rd and 4th who hit 12 each.
In addition, none of these players reached the final barring Van Gerwen with James Wade the other finalist in 9th place with 10. This lived up to the James Wade formula of doing just enough in a Machine like performance.
Finally, Peter Wright was first in the 180s per leg with 0.53 per leg with Simon Whitlock 2nd and 3rd with 0.40 per leg. MVG was down in 6th place hitting on average 0.38 180s per leg.
