Van Gerwen cruises into second consecutive Euro Tour final with victory over Gurney

Michael van Gerwen is on the verge of yet another Euro Tour title defeating Daryl Gurney 7-3 to set up a second consecutive final with Peter Wright after last week's triumph against 'Snakebite' in Leverkusen.

As usual it was quite pedestrian for the World Number One who coasted into the final with a 149 checkout against the Northern Irishman as he sets up another meeting of the World's top two players.
It was five 180's and a 99.7 average for Van Gerwen showing despite not being at his best he can still beat most of the World's best.
Perhaps if Gurney hadn't gone down 4-0 early doors averaging 80 at the time it would of been a more closer affair between the two but it is another final for the Dutchman.
Semi-Finals
James Wade (95.55) 3-7 (100.1) Peter Wright
Daryl Gurney (91.2) 3-7 (99.76) Michael van Gerwen
