After the Gibraltar Darts Trophy as expected, Michael van Gerwen dominates the statistics including most 180's and highest overall average throughout the whole Euro Tour. He has been imperious in these events winning 25 overall as of this past weekend.
Van Gerwen tops that highest average with 101.26 being his overall average for the tour so far. He hardly ever dips under the 100 mark with only one weekend in the form of Zwolle where he didn't perform to his capabilities and should have been knocked out by Daryl Gurney.
This is ahead of another European Tour stalwart in Peter Wright who has 99.89 which is of course some way off Mighty Mike but it shows that despite him seemingly not being in the greatest form that he can still produce brilliant darts.
In terms of 180's, MVG leads the way with over 20 ahead of his nearest rival. He has 83 and Peter Wright has 63 overall. Michael Smith another high scorer himself only has 54 compared to that.
Kirk Shepherd though leads the Checkout Percentages with 18/37 attempts equating to 48.6%. He is ahead of Adrian Lewis who has 48.5% but it comes off more attempts with 50/103.
In terms of ton plus checkouts, Van Gerwen also leads the way in that regard. He has hit 22, 3 ahead of Peter Wright who sits second with 19. James Wade known for taking out the right shots at the right time is third with 15.

It's great to have someone with Vincent's exprience address this issue, so hopefully clearer and stricter guidlelines can be given to referees, security and members of the crowd.
