Van Gerwen odds on for Masters title defence

Michael van Gerwen heads to Milton Keynes this weekend as favourite to defend his Masters crown. World number one MvG has won the title on his last three visits to Milton Keynes, and remains the only man to have won the title since it was moved there in 2015.

He begins his quest for a fourth straight title against Kim Huybrechts on Saturday. New world Champion Rob Cross enters the event as second favourite. Voltage will be making his debut in the top 16 event, and his first appearance since lifting the world title at Ally Pally less then 30 days ago.
His first opponent will be Ian White, who amazingly, after Phil Taylor’s retirement and Adrian Lewis’ fall through the rankings, is the highest ranked PDC professional player from Stoke-on-Trent. Gary Anderson and Peter Wright complete the top 4 favourites.
