Michael van Gerwen has become a father for the first time, after he and his wife Daphne welcomed their baby daughter Zoë. The world number one announced the happy news on Twitter.
'Mommy, Daddy are very greatfull for this!', the statement read. Van Gerwen announced in January during his hommage for winning his second world title, that his wife was pregnant. Two months later, the Dutchman said they were expecting a daughter.
