Van Gerwen and Wright separated by exactly £1 million in updated Order of Merit

The Order of Merit has been updated after another Players Championship weekend and instead of there being any major movers, the big story comes from the gap between players. Michael van Gerwen has gone exactly £1 million pounds ahead of Peter Wright showing the dominance of the World Number 1.

He added to his total this weekend with a win on the Saturday before bowing out in the Last 32 to Jermaine Wattimena yesterday. Wright hasn't had the best time as of late but unless Van Gerwen suffers a huge downturn in form and Wright goes on a destructive run, the Order of Merit will not change hands for some time.
John Henderson who has been improving constantly over the past year or so has gone up to number 27. This replaces Jonny Clayton who was of course a ranking winner and TV Finalist last year: he hasn't shown that form as of late.
Cristo Reyes has overtaken Justin Pipe in the rankings. Both players are not setting the world alight but Reyes could use this as a catalyst to recapture some of the form that saw him push Michael van Gerwen at the World Championship 2 years ago.
