Michael van Gerwen has returned the favour hitting a 170 checkout in reply to Raymond van Barneveld’s in the semi-finals against him at the Brisbane Darts Masters.
This time though it was in the final and could prove to be a pivotal moment for Van Gerwen.
At the time, Cross was 4-2 up and seemingly cruising but Van Gerwen smashed in the ‘big fish’ to break ‘Voltage’.
