Wade saw off Boris Koltsov 6-1 in a typical performance from the Machine capped off with some brilliant finishing including a 142 in the early going. Koltsov’s problem was the opposite, he couldn’t finish which meant for Wade he coasted through. Clayton was also superb on the doubles as ‘The Ferret’ coasted through to the next round with 6/11 including a 140 finish against the dangerous Simon Stevenson.
