James Wade has been one of the most in-form players in Darts as of late winning multiple major titles and Tour events to add to his extensive collection and on his return to the Premier League, he has been one of the star performers.
He will start his quest for a second Premier League title tonight against Rob Cross who he beat last time out and admits that for him that game meant nothing but to never write him off claiming the title later on this evening. "It's been a long time since I've been in the Play-Offs but I've been playing professional darts for so long now that the pressure shouldn't get to me," said Wade. "I expected myself to make the final but it would be so nice to win it. It's a prestigious event, against the best players in the world, so I can look forward to the Play-Offs. "I'm happy with how the season's gone and I'm really grateful to be in the Play-Offs. I feel like I'm part of the tournament - I've got far enough now to be involved in the Play-Offs so I'm excited by it. "Last week's game against Rob won't mean anything - it wasn't a knockout game and if anything I cost Rob £25,000 so it will give him a bit of fuel! But I'll be ready for him. "Michael and me are probably the most experienced players in the Premier League. There are better players than me and far more flamboyant players, but I know what I'm capable of and I'm never someone to be written off."
