The latter stages of the German Darts Grand Prix are taking shape with the first Semi-Final confirmed. It will be James Wade vs Peter Wright in a repeat of their match at the same stage last week in Leverkusen.

'The Machine' ended the hopes of Max Hopp who has had his best weekend for some time equalling his best run on the European Tour. For Wade like alluded to he has reached his second consecutive semi-final and will face Peter Wright once again.
It was a 95 average for the former multiple time major champion with 42.86% on his doubles with 2 180's as he shows he is very much back in the reckoning.
For Wright he carried on his brilliance on the Euro Tour by smashing Joe Cullen 6-1 with nearly a 110 average in the end. There was almost 20 points difference in the averages with 'Snakebite' also hitting 6/8 on his doubles. He will be hoping to avenge last week's final defeat to Michael van Gerwen in a title he should of won.
