Wade survives late comeback from Price to win opening game of day two at The Masters

James Wade is through his opening tie with Gerwyn Price at the Masters in a match that was highly anticipated.
It wasn’t as close as expected though in parts with Wade opening up a big lead going 6-1 up. Despite a late flurry from Price, it was Wade who came through the tie to move into the final day. In terms of averages, ‘The Machine’ averaged 94 in a 10-7 win as he stakes his claim for another major title. to check out the tournament centre for the Masters. - I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
