Wade withdrawing late means that
Glen Durrant who was due to face 'The Machine' in the second round tomorrow will now receive a bye through to the Last 16.
This will be welcome news to 'Duzza' who is in good form having won a second
PDC title last weekend and will now set his sights on a first
European Tour title to add to the collection.
You can keep up with all the latest scores from this weekend’s Dutch Darts Masters (May 24-26), right here on dartsnews.com. Click here to go to the livescores. Durrant moved through his first round test
earlier on today against Alexander Merkx and as a result will be especially pleased to have moved through unscathed. Similar happened last time out with Ryan Searle benefitting from Wade's late withdrawal.
