White hungry for success as European Tour returns: “I just need to get into the top ten”

The PDC managed to catch a few words with Ian White at the PDC Fishing Championship mainly about his season so far.
White also spoke about breaking into the top ten of the PDC Order of Merit and finally returning to action this weekend in Hildesheim.
”The first half has gone well. I’ve had two wins and two finals as well,” said White. “Everything’s going well for me, I just need to get into the top ten.”
”I’m close to getting there but there’s also other players that are near me as well,” added ‘Diamond’.
”I’m very keen I can’t wait to go it’s been nearly six weeks without darts,” concluded White on the prospect of returning to the European Tour this weekend.

If it is going to be done to English players, then we are more than entitled to dish the same back when players face off in England. - I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
