White sees off Wright to set up final with Evans at Dutch Darts Championship

The final of the Dutch Darts Championship is confirmed and will see Ian White face off against Ricky Evans.
This came after White saw off Peter Wright in a brilliant display from ‘Diamond’.
Stoke’s number one stated his desire to claim a European Tour in 2018 and he is one step away from doing so.
It was a 7-4 victory with six 180s and a 98 average.
What could be the problem for him though is that he will be seen as the favourite in the final but he will be hoping to thrive on that pressure and bring home the title.

- I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
