Despite admitting he was glad to win in his interview he also said that he was willing him on and that made it hard.
’I started so well, I was really focused and determined. I am happy with the start.’
He continued: ‘I know Dean was struggling and he’s such a good player so you’re thinking come on Dean but you don’t need to do that. I wish him all the best. I’m thrilled to bits to move through but it was hard to play.’
