The Draw has been completed for the World Series Finals this weekend.
Pick of the first round ties is Australian sensation Corey Cadby vs The Cobra, Jelle Klaasen. Much of the darting world has been discussing Cadby's failure to have already qualified for the World Championships in December. The Aussie World Youth Champion missed out in the Oceanic Masters last 32 last weekend and now must retain his World Youth title to be at the end of year spectacular. He'll be hoping to use this event as a springboard for Mondays last 64 in Wigan. Standing in his way is stablemate Jelle Klassen in the first round. The pair will meet for the first time for the chance to play Number 8 seed Gerwyn Price. Price being the benefactor of Phil Taylor's choice to withdraw from the finals.
The other top of the bill clash will surely be Rob Cross vs Jonny Clayton. Clayton picked up his first Pro tour less then a month ago, whilst Cross has 4 to his name. Cross, who now operates under the Nickname Voltage, made his first televised final last weekend at the European Championships, and will be looking to go one further this time out. Auckland darts master and last weeks 9-dart hero Kyle Anderson will be in waiting for the victor of this one.
Other clashes to look out for is a potential meeting between Adrian Lewis and Michael van Gerwen in round 2. Lewis must beat German darts superstar Max Hopp to secure that match-up. A repeat of the Champions League of darts final is also on the cards. Suljovic vs Gary Anderson is another potential round 2 match-up. The un-seeded Austrian must overcome 'Hollywood' Chris Dobey for us to see that one.
Action gets underway at the Braehead Arena tomorrow. Coverage in the UK is available on ITV4 from 7pm.
