Peter Wright and Daryl Gurney ended the evening in Liverpool by sharing the points in an emotional match between the pair. Wright was safe after Mensur Suljovic lost to Michael van Gerwen earlier on.

The news of Eric Bristow passing away meant it was an emotional affair between the pair with Wright trying for a 9-darter for the Crafty Cockney in the final leg of the match.
Gurney and Wright embraced after the match and 'Snakebite' looked absolutely devastated going off the stage in tears. The fans in the Echo Arena gave a touching tribute to Bristow throughout showing how much he will be missed.
'Superchin' averaged 98.67 with 50% on the doubles with 'Snakebite' averaging 99.78 with 35%. He battled in the decider though hitting a 93 finish to secure a point.
