Peter Wright admitted he wanted to play better than he did against Jelle Klaasen in the Final first round game at the World Matchplay this past Monday but that he is confident he will beat Kim Huybrechts next round.

Wright also said that as well as wanting to play better he wanted to hit a ton plus average and if he would have done that he would have been the only one to do so in round one.
"I wanted to play a lot better than I did tonight," said Wright, the 9/2 second favourite with sponsors BetVictor.
"Ideally I would've produced a ton-plus average but there's a long way to go in the tournament and I'm confident I will beat Kim in the next round."
