Wright moves off bottom of Premier League table with win over Whitlock

Peter Wright has shown some form by dispatching Simon Whitlock 7-4 in Birmingham to open the evening's proceedings between the two players who cannot find their way in the Play-Offs now.

It is now a change in position between the pair with Whitlock going to the foot of the table; Wright goes above him in a game that like alluded to was more about pride between the pair.
For 'The Wizard' it was a story of 16 missed darts at doubles; 'Snakebite' made him pay to take the two points in a real confidence boost for the World Number Two.
