Peter Wright has offered his apologizes on Friday evening. The world number two refused to shake hands with Rob Cross on Thursday evening after his defeat in the Premier League Darts.
'Snakebite' gave his English opponent a weak hand before he thanked the officials. Back at the table on the podium, Wright refused a second handshake from the reigning world champion. The UK Open champion expressed his displeasure in words and gesture against Cross, who understood nothing of it himself.
Presumably Wright accused him of falling too close to the Scot after retrieving the darts from the board. 'Voltage' won the game 7-4 and gave 'Snakebite' his first loss of the competition.
