The final is now confirmed at the European Darts Open in Leverkusen. It will feature Michael van Gerwen, the number one seed vs the number two seed Peter Wright as 'Snakebite' is on course to potentially retain his title which he won last year.

He stepped closer to that defeating James Wade 7-4 in a thrilling contest as Wright is seemingly back to some of the form he displayed at times last year.
He beat Wade with a 102 average with 2 180's and a high checkout of 170 in his victory. Seemingly then he should give 'Mighty Mike' a game and it should be a thrilling conclusion to the first Euro Tour of the year.
