Michael van Gerwen produced his first nine-dart finish of the season on Sunday afternoon. The 29-year-old Dutchman hit his perfect leg in the quarter-finals of Players Championship 2 against Jonny Clayton.
Van Gerwen used an unusual way to hit his 141 checkout. He started with treble 19, before he found the treble 16 and double 18. Geert Nentjes, Chris Dobey and Dave Chisnall managed to hit a nine-dart finish earlier on the day as well.
