Martin Adams has claimed the first weekly title in the returning MODUS Online Live League after comfortably winning all of his matches on the final day on Saturday.

In the group stage, he saw off Scott Marsh (4-3) and Robert Thornton (4-0). While the former saw off Thornton meaning Adams moved through to the semi-finals.
In the other group, it was James Richardson and Chas Barstow who advanced. Adams beat Richardson in his semi-final, while Barstow was too strong for Marsh.
The latter also took his spot in Champions Week by winning the 3/4 place play-off but it was Adams who claimed the £5,000 prize as well as his spot in that week with £10,000 on offer in terms of the overall prize fund.
