Burness leads after opening day in Online Darts League Champions Week

Kevin Burness had an excellent start to the final week of the Online Darts Live League on Tuesday. The Northern Irishman opened with six wins in his first eight games.

Behind Burness are Colin Osborne, Martin Thomas and Fallon Sherrock each on eight points. Arron Monk is number five with six points, while James Richardson is currently last with four points.

Each player will play three times against the other players in the group through Wednesday. The winner of this group goes directly to the final group on Saturday.

The numbers two, three and four of the ranking will play a new group against two new players on Thursday evening and Friday evening. This is Mark Webster and Wayne Warren.

The numbers five and six of the position on Wednesday will also play a new group against new participants. In this group, Chas Barstow, Richie Burnett, Jamie Kelling and Jim Williams are the entrants. They will be in action on Thursday afternoon and Friday afternoon. Three players from the evening group go to the final and two from the morning group, so that the final consists of six players.

Unlike the first edition of the Modus League in 2020, the game will not be played online via a webcam connection, but at a location in Southampton, England. The matches can be followed via the Online Darts YouTube channel .
