Heneghan leads Burness after Group A begins in Week Three of Online Darts League

Conor Heneghan and Kevin Burness take the lead after the first games in Group A at the start of the third week of play in the Online Darts Live League.

Both players have won four of their five matches. Heneghan defeated Lee Cocks (4-3), Kevin McDine (4-1), Ryan Hogarth (4-0) and Burness (4-1) and only lost to Robert Owen (4-3). Burness managed to win (4-2), but the Northern Irishman lost his match with Heneghan. The latter is leading the group on the basis of a better leg difference.

Until Wednesday, each player plays once a day against the other players in the group. The winner of this group goes directly to the final group on Saturday.

The numbers two and three of the ranking will play a new group against three new players on Thursday evening and Friday evening. This is Mark Dudbridge, Chas Barstow and Tony O'Shea.

The numbers five and six of the ranking on Wednesday will also play a new group against new participants. Scott Williams, George Killington and Arron Monk are the entrants in this group. They will be in action on Thursday afternoon and Friday afternoon. From the evening group, three players go to the final group and from the morning group too, so that the final group consists of six players.

Unlike the first edition of the Modus League in 2020, the game will not be played online via a webcam connection, but at a location in Southampton, England. The matches can be followed via the Online Darts YouTube channel .
