North leads Hogan after Online Darts League Group C opener

Richard North leads the way in Online Darts League Group C after a terrific opener where he finished ahead of Paul Hogan on Thursday afternoon.

North defeated Lee Evans (4-2), Robert Rickwood (4-2), Jarred Cole (4-1) and Conan Whitehead (4-1). He went down in the head-to-head duel with Hogan (4-2), but Hogan in turn lost to Whitehead (4-2). North is at the top of the group on leg difference.

The players of this group play against each other on Thursday and Friday afternoons. The numbers one, two and three of this group then go through to the final group on Saturday.

In the evening sessions, Rhys Griffin, Jamie Kelling, Deta Hedman, Terry Jenkins and Carl Wilkinson play against each other twice in a group.

Three players from the evening group go through to the final group and two from the morning group, so the final group consists of six players. Martin Thomas already managed to qualify for this final group by winning this week's first group.

Unlike the first edition of the MODUS League in 2020, the game will not be played online via a webcam connection, but at a location in Southampton, England. The matches can be followed via the Online Darts YouTube channel .
